Interesting, interesting

This, R.I.P reading challenge looks rather interesting. I won't be joining it (not with only a month and a huge desire to finish "THoM"), but if I was, I think my books would be:

1. Fahrenheit 451
2. Vampyre
3. Bleak House
4. Coraline
5. Ghost Stories (by Edith Wharton)

Guidelines: pick out any 5 books that you want to read that you think meet the very open, broad criteria of being scary, eerie, moody, dripping with atmosphere, gothic, unsettling, etc.

Hi, I was in Seattle in June and had great weather. Apparently that isn't usual. Lovely city.

Great choices! I've read Fahrenheit 451 long ago and just finished Coraline for the RIP challenge, recently. Haven't gotten to Bleak House or Ghost Stories, but they're on my get-to-them-someday mental list. Congrats on reaching your goal of 50 early! Ella Minnow Pea is great. I should have kept that one; I laughed so hard I'm lucky I didn't have to change underwear, although it did have some horrifying moments, as well. :)

Mr. Paul...no, it's usually nice here June through September. October is when the rains usually start up again.

Bookfool, thanks. I'm hoping to get to Bleak House by the end of the year, but if not, it'll be one of the first ones I read next year. Ella Minnow Pea was a recommendation from a friend; I'm so glad I listened.

That's a good list! I am wanting to host this again next year so I hope you join in then!

Carl, I'll have to keep an eye out for that then next year.
